On February 2, 1989, Dr. Bowman R. Browne began practicing with Dr. Van W. Heely in Portsmouth, Va. Working side by side for nine months, Dr. Heely quickly became a mentor and friend. In 1990, upon his retirement, Dr. Heely turned his practice and beloved patients over to Dr. Browne. Dr. Browne continued to practice in the Portside office until 1998 when he moved his practice and his patients to the thriving Bennett’s Creek area of Suffolk. It was his hope that this new location, booming with neighborhoods and schools, would allow him the opportunity to work with more families. The move proved successful and the practice has flourished in North Suffolk under Dr. Browne’s dedication to caring, compassionate, and quality service.
